US citizens have one of the \u2018strongest\u2019 passports in the world and can travel without a visa to 116 countries.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is fantastic \u2013 until you realize there are over 80 countries that require a Visa of some kind. Forty-nine of them are \u2018<\/strong>eVisa<\/strong>\u2019 <\/strong>or \u2018visa on arrival\u2019 <\/strong>countries.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

– \u2018eVisa\u2019 is an option that enables travelers to submit a visa application online prior to visiting a country. It enables you to enter a country immediately upon arrival with a passport and visa on hand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

– \u2018Visa on arrival\u2019 allows a traveler to purchase a visa when arriving to their destination country. For example, upon crossing the Mexican border \u2013 visitors can purchase a six-month tourist visa for $25. Plenty of time for tamales, tequila and addressing an endless taco addiction.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travel is fun \u2013 but logistics can be a bureaucratic drag. Obtaining visas requires yet another step for people to deal with in their travel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But don\u2019t forget, there are also 33 countries that require US citizens to obtain a physical visa <\/strong>prior to arrival. When this is the case, you\u2019ll need to undergo an often-lengthy process that takes time, paperwork and money.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
